These layers display the climate suitability value on the Climate Watch grid by species and season. Each of the 12 target species has a summer and winter suitability value for each grid cell, measured in percent change. The mean value within a 10 km square is displayed, and classified as follows for the symbology— Worsening (class 1): -50 to -100% change in climate suitability in stable areas. Moderately Worsening (class 2): -25 to -50% change. Slightly worsening (class 3): -25 to -5% change. Stable (class 4): 5-% to 5% change. Slightly improving (class 5): +5 to +25% change. Moderately Improving (class 6): +25% to 50% change. Improving (class 7): 50%+ change. |
